And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your picked numbers with a good old#2 pencil like you used when you were in grade 3.

Now that you have checked your numbers, carry the keno card back to the person at the keno stand. The person will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Don’t misplace this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers you and would like to help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will win exactly $.00 for your actions.

Now there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s advance to something a little bit more useful, shall we?

If you have winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Make sure not to drag your feet, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You need to get up to the keno booth to get your winnings, as a new drawing will most likely start within not too many minutes.

Strategy number two: always go back to the keno booth on time!

Assuming you do not trust yourself to beat that five-minute deadline each time, you always have the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty slips. When the max amount of games (the same as the amount of tickets) is completed, you should then get off your lazy butt and go get your winnings.

Still another opportunity is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which generally allows you make number selection for 30 keno rounds or more. Hell, you can take a world tour and not have to worry about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

So now you have learned a handful of necessary strategies for winning keno. If you are a good gambler, they might appear to be stupidly obvious. Still, it doesn’t hurt to study up on the basics, and if you are a novice gambler, every bit of direction will help make your keno gambling more exciting.
