Keno Tactics That Win
February 8th, 2020 at 0:25It might not ordinarily be seen as the sexiest game in the world of gambling, but keno has loads of steadfast admirers. And so it should! It’s a consistently thrilling lotto-esque game that’s simple to play, abundantly available in lots of assorted styles, and one that might yield millions of dollars for players who master its heaps of subtle rules. But let’s begin with the basics for now.
When defining keno to newcomers, some gaming masters compare it to bingo. This is at least partly correct, in that each game is essentially numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far would be to belittle the many unique traits that make keno so fun. Unlike bingo, keno gamblers have the power to pick the numbers for each and every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the player is given an increased level of personal responsibility by being able to select as numerous (or as few) numbers as she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your desired numbers with a good oldmarker like you had when you were in school.
Now that you have picked your numbers, carry the card back to the girl at the keno stand. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your face and wants help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will collect exactly $.00 for your efforts.
Ok, there you have strategy number one: always take care to keep your keno receipt. Let’s go on to something a little bit more complicated, ok?
Now that you’ve marked your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and observe the action take place on the video monitor. That is where the winning numbers appear for all to see. If you checked winners, mark your card appropriately. Make sure not to take your time, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get up to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and a new round of keno will surely begin within a few minutes.
Strategy #2: always go back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you do not trust yourself to beat that five-minute margin each time, you always retain the option of purchasing a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from two to twenty tickets. When the maximum amount of rounds (fitting the amount of tickets) is completed, you are then able to get off your lazy bum and go get your winnings.
Still another option is known as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which commonly lets you make number picks for 30 games or more. Golly, you can take a world tour and not have to fret about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after you by it!
So now you know a number of required strategies for winning keno. If you are an adept user, they might appear to be incredibly obvious. But it doesn’t hurt to bone up on the fundamentals, and if you are a novice user, every tiny bit of information will help make your keno games more enjoyable.
